Leeds Art Gallery
The Leeds Art Gallery is a huge building showcasing a grand array of 20th century British art that is world class. As well as the permanent displays, Leeds Art Gallery is also known for a great many temporary exhibitions, which offer many different types of exciting examples of art from famous artists.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
On Wednesdays, the gallery is open from 12 noon to 5pm,
and on Sundays from 1pm to 5pm.
How to get to Leeds Art Gallery
To find the Leeds Art Gallery by train, walk out of the railway station and turn left then
continue to walk up Station Street as it merges into Park Row and Cookridge Street for
around four hundred metres. After this distance turn left onto Great George Street, then
turn right onto Calverley Street, where you will find the gallery on your left.

Ascent Gallery
The Ascent Gallery is open Weekdays from 10:30am to 6pm, Saturdays 10am to 7pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm.
How to get to Leeds’ Ascent Gallery
To find the Ascent Gallery by public transport: starting from the railway station the Gallery is opposite the main entrance, by the taxi rank.
By car, you can park at the car park on Swinegate, which is a short three- to four- minute walk from the gallery.

Smart Gallery
How to get to Leeds’ Smart Gallery
To visit Leeds’ Smart Gallery via public transport, take a right turn out of the railway station and walk down New Station Street. Continue on New Station Street as it alters direction and walk over the Boar Lane crossroads onto Albion Street. Walk up Albion Street and take the second right onto Albion Place, you will find the Smart Gallery on your right.
