Hollybush Conservation Centre
Located just three miles outside of Leeds city centre in the Kirkstall area, Hollybush Conservation Centre is a wonderful conservation area hosting a wildlife garden full of animals and wildflowers.
The conservation centre also has a secret garden and a fruit garden.

Kirkstall Abbey Estate
Another wonderful park located in Kirkstall is the Kirkstall Abbey Estate.
This estate comprises of two large park areas, one of which is used for ball games and the other for recreation.
Within the two parks are the ruins of the Kirkstall Abbey and the Abbey House Museum.

Middleton Park
Middleton Park is found four miles south of Leeds city centre, and is a huge expanse of 630 acres.
Middleton Park is a natural treasure of ancient woodland dating back to the 1600’s.
The park is also a refuge for many wonderful animals, insects, plants and trees as well as being a place of historical interest.

Golden Acre Park
Golden Acre is a vibrant nature reserve located outside of Leeds close to Otley.
The nature reserve is small in size but makes up for this with a beautiful variety of marshland and woodland hosting a large selection of plants and wildlife, including the endangered freshwater crayfish.

Temple Newsam
The Temple Newsam Estate includes over 1500 acres of parkland, woodland and gardens creating a landscape to take your breath away.
Managed by Leeds City Council, Temple Newsam is an amazing place to sample nature and wildlife while taking a leisurely stroll through miles of unspoilt land.
The Estate has stood the test of time and its range of flora from classic rose beds to rugged natural landscapes make it an experience not to forget.
