Just as the Garage sound got a little darker, producer Sticky released a record entitled ‘Booo!’ showcasing the vocal talent of a female emcee known at the time as Lady Dynamite. After working briefly with So Solid Crew she dropped her debut album ‘A LITTLE DEEPER’ in 2002 to critical acclaim. The same year she released the hit songs ‘IT TAKES MORE’ and ‘DY-NA-MI-TEE’ and went on to win a bevy of high profile awards including the Mercury Music Prize. In 2003 she scooped three MOBO’s and two Brit Awards as well as releasing the hard hitting ‘PUT HIM OUT’. After a two to three year hiatus she returned with her second album ‘JUDGEMENT DAY’ and more recently dropped underground smasher ‘BAD GYAL’.
