Vintage Ambulance Weekend:
999 Emergency Days

Find out how the emergency services have dealt with accidents and crises in the past and present.

This is your chance to see the pride and joy of the Ambulance Conservation Group, the Austin K2 from the classic film ‘Ice Cold in Alex’.

There will be a Military field hospital, special effects wounds, make-up from film and TV, museum trail and family fun all weekend.

Activity Runs between 10.00am – 4.00pm.

Museum admission charges:
Adult £6.50 | Child £4.00 | Concession £5.50 | Family Ticket £19.00

How To Find The Thackray Museum

The Museum is next to St. James’s Hospital, 2 miles to the North East of the city centre.

By Bus: Frequent bus services run from Leeds city centre. Numbers 4, 42, 49, 50, 50A, 61 all stop outside the Museum.

By Car: From M621 follow signs for York (A64) then follow the brown tourist signs. From the North, take the A58 towards the city, and then follow the brown tourist signs.
