Towards the end of August the normally peaceful town of Chapel Allerton becomes a hotbed of creativity, as the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival begins its week-long celebration of the artistic diversity and talent in the area.

Run entirely by local volunteers, the week sees selected venues in the town hosting a variety of events and interactive activities ranging from poetry and philosophy to juggling.
